Need pricing on:
(2) 215/45 R17 and
(2) 245/40 R17
can anyone report on how long a set has lasted them for either dailey driving, tracking, or mixed? i’m guessing a grippy tire like this wouldn’t last very long…
it lasts very long
It lasts a VERY long for the amount of grip you get compared to other alternatives.
Comparable tires would be Falken RT-615, Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R and other very high end street legal tires.
They do wear faster than your conventional normal summer tire though since it’s amazingly grippy.a

they don’t have 225/40/17, only a couple of tire manufactures actually make that size.
i ran these all summer (may until november 1st) to drive to work and to track and on track 3 times. and its not fully bald yet. still can use prob 30% tread left in fronts. these have very good treadwear for a semi r tire. i will be buying another set next year. definitely recommend anyone wanting a nice tire to daily drive and at same time push it at the track. roughly 5k km on the tires i used. and i dun really drive like a grandma on turns lol.

that alone is approx 1500kms just driving to and from shannonvile lol

true… my bad… thats aorund 5k dailying to work and around town. and then 3 track days total of 1500km more… so around 6500 km on the tires lol
