I’ve been out of the audio/video game for a while. I’m getting sick of converting shit and I am having problems watching DVD’s that I burned so I want to just get a DVD player with a USB built in to play from a thumb drive. I want to be able to download something and just put it on a thumb drive and play it. Any suggestions?
I have a Philips one (don’t know model number) with a USB on the front for this same purpose. Works great, haven’t found a video format it couldn’t read so far. It was cheap too, around $70, bought it about 1.5 years ago.
Spend 60 bucks on a Philips 5990, and be done with it. It will play anything, from any region. Throw a waffle in there, and it will likely play it. And yes, it has a USB port.
