my player (philips) can upconvert through conponent. well video at least. these dvd players are great. they are about a third of the price of an HD and much less than a bluray. they do a great job for the most part. i have one that plays divx and has HD input too. these are a must have. who wants to spend $30 on a new movie anyway?
shit this woulda made my home theater setup a billion times easier (using a hdmi cable instead of component) if i didn’t just finished running the cables in the walls I totally woulda got this
