My bolt on KA made 152whp on that dyno
^NICE I should dyno mine soon haha… maybe two weeks from now when im free lol
The dyno dynamics can be setup to read higher. Ive read of some people doing more on it than on a dynojet. It all comes down to the use.
The dyno at pur is not setup correct. I recently heard through a group of friends at a dsm meet that a car went on 2 previous DIFFERENT dynos and it made 2hp difference. It went to pur and it was 45hp lower. Thats not due to the “dyno”, thats due to an incorrectly setup dyno.
my car is temporarily 100whp less woohoooo
ya i wouldnt exaggerate it…lol…i bet its making more for sure, i would say easy over 200.
where abouts is this place?
I need my clutch to arrive before I make any dyno passes, im expecting to net somewhere between 240-260rwhp
you guys do realize that every dyno is going to give different numbers because they are all most likely calibrated differently… its a tuning tool, yet everyone is so stuck on numbers all the time
^At least someone gets it…
EVERY dyno can be setup to read higher.
The Dyno at Pur was set up by a professional and is calibrated to the weather/pressure every startup.
^Steve Nicholls… The GM of Haltech USA and XXX Racing Fuel…
yada yada yada, everyone says a professional setup their dyno yet a professional can setup 2 of the same kind of dynos and have them read differently.
Yes I agree its a tuning tool, but it can still be corrected higher similar to all other dynos and be used as a tuning tool.
Who wants to dyno a car and have low numbers and have it tuned correctly and then have to go to another dyno to re-dyno to get a higher number? Seems like wasting money when the dyno can be corrected right there properly.
This weekend I heard of another car going there and it was a 100rwhp difference.
