Black E34 M5 with bbs RGR’s, saw him, and did a pull in an undisclosed location… did it twice with about a 2-3 carlength advantage in the m3… only wound it out to about 90 as i had my gf and puppy in the car
Nice, everything I’ve read gives the e46 the advantage stock for stock, but shrick cams and a remap and it’s all over for ya

yea… thanx for keeping a log… i dont do organized stuff… but we both merged onto the same thruway side by side… so it wasnt that bad… generally though im always ~6mph from the limit

Theres people on BMW boards who have both and they say the m5 will pull up top. I have no clue, I only had a quick run in with the turbo SHO and did well and that trapped what, 106?
Who knows, its more for curiousity’s sake
Back in 91, the stock e34 m5 were rated for ~14.0@100-102mph. They really shine 60+ mph though
