are they worth it or worthless? its seems like a pretty cheap plug and play option. i dont care about the look of HIDs, i just like bright lights cause i can’t see at night with those horrible orange street lights in this city. I coulda just bought silverstars but i’d have as much into to them as the HID kits on ebay.
If there is not a focused projector from the factory you are going to blind everyone and possibly get pulled over depending on your headlight.
To answer your question, yes they are bright.
I used the silverstars in my accord and was VERY happy with them.
ive got silverstars in my civic and my buddy has hids the silverstars are almost just as bright without the bluish tint

Ideally anything with Phillips/Osram bulbs and burners would be fine. Ther are loads of other-named kits out there in the sub $250 range that are very good. Just don’t be taken in my the different color temperatures. 4-5K is MORE than enough. There is a point of diminishing returns with color temp…as the color moves toward the blue/purple range (high K rating) actual observable light output drops.
i went with diamond white. i didnt care about colors. its it blows i’ll just stick the old bulbs in. no worries.
The only problem I had with the kit that I previously bought was it had a bad ballast. Otherwise they were pretty nice for the price. I paid 130.00 from some place on ebay.

I got mine off ebay and they work great. I got a couple of my friends sets also.
