What I don’t understand is why he was looking for a “junkyard” t-5 to replace the one he broke when he has this big bad 400+hp motor. Thats like putting a twig in place of a telephone poll hoping it holds. :noob: And I hope to god he has AT LEAST mickey thompsons on the back of that thing bec I don’t wanna hear all summer how he has too much power to hook from a roll or a dig.
I’m calling you out Wookie pussy, from a dig and a roll.
^Good friend of mine has a T5 behind an S-trim H/C/I Mustang running in the high 120’s…been at it for the past 4 years and drives the car quite often in the summer quite aggressivley. Treat them right, don’t powershift, and you can get some reliability out of them. Don’t try to argue this because I am stating facts here.
Also, there are other tires that hook that don’t have the MT name on it…but I’m sure you knew this.
Wow, really? I was looking for a junkyard T5 so that I can build the one that’s currently in there the right way, and still be able to move the car around. I wouldn’t be calling anyone a noob. Or a pussy. And yes, I’ve got MTs in the basement waiting to go on in the summer. Big words from you.
And quit putting words in my mouth. I never said my motor was big or bad. Yet. The plate was to stir up races, not to imply I can beat every LS1 out there. Said that at the beginning.
Been driving stick for 10 years, and been down the track quite a few times. If I’m not perfet the first run in this car, I’ll be sure to correct that. There’s a lot of trash talking in this thread from people who don’t know me.
Wookie, I hope you can back your claims! From the sounds of it, you have the parts to go well into the 10’s…I’ve seen it done before on the stock block and a mild turbo set-up.
considering illusion20’s car is a good representation of a fox that is “well into the 10s” and is street driven (his is a stalled auto no less) i doubt this car has what it takes to click off a 10 sec pass…JMO, but we shall see
failure meaning you’re talking yourself up too much… you’re a noob and don’t know what you’re talking about and who you’re up against…
setting yourself up for failure means, relatively slim chance of succeeding and a complementary chance of failing.
your car is probably pretty fast, but chances are, the ls1’s you were running into in the street were stock or mildly modded cars, a huge misrepresentation of what some of our groups have to offer. matter of fact, that goes for most categories. when i first got my STOCK camaro, i thought it was some bad shit; rather unbeatable. that’s just because i didn’t know what and who was out there
now he is going to come back with “but at 11 i used to drive my dad’s old beat truck up and down the drive way and around the yard and that was a stick…see i have been driving stick for 10 years”
