although it wasn’t nearly as fast ET wise as it could have been, i ran faster than 99% of this board has EVER gone my FIRST time at the track with MY OLD setup. My trap WAS just about on par with THE FASTEST this site has seen regarding street cars. yes i still have a T56, and yes it will be limiting, but that doesn’t mean it wont be fast. NO, i still have an LS1, it just has more cubes. i have NEVER been interested in making my car perform at the track in past years. and you among many people have nothing to say or to compare with that, so you should stop waiving your arm around like you have all the answers, and living through other people

Every car can be “Fast” but stock some cars came out faster than others.
Ford decided to grace the mustang with a 5.0 litre, then a high tech 4.6. No wonders it doesn’t compete with a 5.7 liter stock.
However, that said, the LS1 is a fantastic motor. Out of the box, it makes one hell of a car. With mods, its even better.
Lets all just enjoy! Summer will be here eventually.
