when i was younger and fucking stupid i did not think much about having some drinks and driving but i honestly don’t fuck around with that at all anymore. not just because i might get in trouble, but that is certainly one of the reasons.

I’d like to hear the opinions of those in here in regards to texting while driving, driving while on the verge of falling asleep, driving a car on tires with low tread/dry rotting/exposed cords, etc…
I’d be curious to know how many accidents are caused from issues like I’ve mentioned above, versus someone at .08 BAC.
*note, I’m not promoting drunk driving in any way…just probing a bit to hear the opinions on other driving scenarios that I can see being just as bad as someone at .08.
I’d really like to set up an autoX meet with one group, those with a season or so of experience, who’ve been there 3 or 4 times, with .08 BAC’s, and one group of noobs who haven’t drank.
I’d put my money on the “drunks” every time.
I’d really like to see it be the same drivers but then there’s no way to avoid sandbagging.
There should be stiffer penalties for driving while stupid.
Ugh I probably know more bitches that have gotten in accidents from texting, doing make-up, or changing the radio than I know people who have gotten in accidents from drunk driving.

you can’t say that drunk driving is not THE problem and that texting, makeup, etc… is
they are all problems, separate ones. There is no one problem that you can go and call “The Problem”
Measures should be taken to prevent all of them.
