This is quoted from Darcy of the Edmonton Prelude Club on 780tuners. Anyone interested in meeting up and heading down for this if the weather is alright?

Just thought I’d post this here just incase anyone is interested in participating or just checking this event out.

Edmonton Street Rod Association’s Summer Cruise 21
Location: Hawrelak Park
Date: June 25, 2005
Time: 12:00 - 4:00pm

This is probably one of the biggest outdoor show & shine events in Edmonton and has the biggest attendance. This event is very well advertized in all sorts of car publications, radio and tv spots.

Local Car Clubs are welcomed and are incouraged to set-up their own poker run or street cruise to the actual show & shine event at Hawrelak Park.

After the show & shine, their is a street cruise down Whyte Ave and then to the after party. Last year, the BBQ took place at Fort Edmonton.

Import / Sport Compact Car Club’s and/or enthusiasts are more than welcome to participate and/or attend.

I was actually covering the Brit show down at the Muttart. I had done a preview article for it so I was somewhat obligated to cover it for the paper.

Oh well, maybe we can get you out to ours next year.

If I had known that it was happening more than 2 days before hand I might have tried to get something together. Oh well.
