Harbor Freight has a variable speed polisher/sander/buffer for about $30.00 on sale. Probably not gonna last a lifetime but it’s worked really good for me so far. It’s not the best that I’ve ever used but you cannot beat the price if you are just looking do a few things here and there.
I have the porter cable 7424, love it. Very easy to use. That price is excellent too, I think I paid close to $175 for it a few years ago…
i got a dewalt about 4 years ago and used it on several hundred cars and still works great! watch it break cause i said that though
