a friend of my gf just threw a rod in her 99 GA, she’s looking for a replacement engine (or bottom end) and someone to do the job. I told her I’d see what I could find and that I’m marginally interested (read: not really) in doing the work. Call LKQ, they just opened a yard here in Buffalo, but you can get them to look up a part nationwide, or search car-part yourself and start calling around.

trying to avoid yards, they usually want premium $$$. Even LKQ. Been dealing with them for years. Granted, anything I’ve ever gotten from them is top quality condition, but she’s just trying to get out as cheap as possible here.
