hey i was wondering of a good place to take my bmw m3 around cramberry, gibsonia or close to those area’s that do good engine work example, cams intakemanfold exetra… who knows what there doing and would you trust? also has good laber cost

cams are a bitch on those heads. as the cams ride in a housing which is held into the head via the cam caps. you basically have to rip the frount of the motor apart—timing chains and all- to get at the cams.
i know i wouldn’t want to fuck w/ it unless it was my own car— so unless there is a bmw only shop in the area, your gonna be fucked w/ going to the dealer, or driving outside of the city.
Where i work at in the daytime (maroney’s foreign auto), our head mechanic could do it no problem—but we do call him the “Wizard” for a reason~ as he knows his shit. May be worth a call to get a quote. but i know we are abcked up w/ work as is, so may eb a week or 2 before u can get in.
little off topic, i heard BMW techs can make upwards of 100K a year.
