I was flipping through this build and it’s pretty crazy…

This is the car:

Technical Highlights
Converted vehicle layout from transverse to longitudinally mounted V6
Engine location moved forward and lower, improving CG and weight distribution
Rearmost part of cylinder block is now 12" forward of rear wheel centerline!!
Primary purpose: support use of Hewland 6 speed transmission
Reason for switch to Hewland: race proven reliability for C30A’s power output of 600+ ps
Custom subframe, manifolds, bell housing, etc etc
C30A + T517Z Turbos
0.5mm oversized forged pistons, H conrods, CR at 9.0
Custom oil pan and dry sump system
Compact alternator from Kei car (neat twist)
Massive cutting of the bulkhead
One off heat treated drive shafts

So much WIN in this build
Speedhunters had a feature on the a little while back. Such a sick car.
Hopefully it made it a less twitchy car. Those things are a handfull

Yes. When they featured it, I don’t think it had the Hewland tranny and the major subframe / engine work though.
Stock weight distribution F/R is 42/58. With the engine moved as far forward as it has been, I’m sure that has changed a lot.
Not a JGTC car, it’s built primarily to post fast lap times during time flying lap contests in Japan (known as “Time Attack”).

Comparing to the 944 which handles very nicely and has a WD of 49/51 r/f it’s highly plausible. Although the suspension geometry is the major culprit. Inherent in vehicles with short control arms and high scrub radii. A car that handles much like the NSX’s is the Ultima GTR. Slight changes in kingpin angles and scrub radius made Dons GTR much more docile and controllable I don’t know offhand what the NSX suspension specs are but haven driven them, one can make some basic assumptions on it.
Still love the car in any format. The late model NSX is my favorite of all the major Jap power house cars(Skyline, Supra, etc, etc) in terms of looks. They are such a damn sexy car.
Looks buddy, just looks. Alot more to a car than looks and I’d still take the GTR based on the other variables in my book

I know lol, I was just messin. I love the look of the newer NSX’s. The 1st generation of them wasn’t too great IMO.
i beg to differ. the 1st gen NSX is a great looking car. i like it in white with a black roof, or all black.
i love all NSXs. It would be the perfect summer daily for me!
