WOW. What a shame that they had to rip off Audi so badly. I was really excited to see the pictures when I opened this thread. The OG NSX is literally timeless.
I really hope they change the look for the production model from that concept.
Even just having the iconic spoiler/wing brought back will go far into carrying on the legacy.
Not to mention the taillights.

Am I the only one that hates that it’s going to be a hybrid? That thing is going to be heavy as fuck.
We should have a running thread of all the DAS press releases. I’m surprised no one has mentioned the 130r or the 140s concepts or the fact that a Ford rep said an ecoboost mustang is inevitable.
I think that thing is sexy as hell. The old one (not the OLD OLD one but the one from the last couple years that came out) is gorgeous too in it’s own way.
Who cares if it copies another car? 98% of the cars on the planet steal SOMETHING from another car. Be it mechanical or cosmetic. As long as it looks good and isn’t a direct carbon copy with a different badge (like the stupid Ford/Mercury vehicles of the 90’s for example).
The issue was is that the original wasn’t a copy of another car (afaik) and had it’s own style. That’s why people loved it.
And now the company is killing it’s unique heritage by making it bland, not to mention a hybrid.
What happened to you Honda?
It’s not honda. The car is being made completely by Acura USA, designed by, made in, and made for 'Mericans.
That’s a huge leap from a car that was built to show off F1 tech and was fine tuned by Nakajima and Senna at Suzuka.
Don’t expect this one to inspire Gordan Murray.
I get that, but it’s still a nice looking car. I’m sure it’ll sell just fine.
Maybe somewhere down the road they’ll go back to the old style or use bits and pieces of the old style on a new model…kind of how some of the cars like the Camaro and Mustang pulled styling from the older models after having years and years of cars that looked nothing like the ones from the 70’s and 80’s.
