Anyone been? It’s just over 2hrs away from Buffalo outside of Syracuse.

It looks like Lucky’s except with better track conditions. Video from 2013:

I assume this is the track STM was going to at the end of the season last year unless they have multiple 1/4 tracks in Syracuse
I have been there. It’s a nice track. My car has never been there though. It’s an NHRA sanctioned track (Empire is IHRA). Rules are pretty strict there, and the tech is pretty legit.
Cool. It looks like it could be a decent spot for a meet.
Just as a suggestion, I would def. get an NHRA rule book before you organize a meet. I would be some people will show up hoping to slide through tech and that just will not happen at an NHRA track.
Do you need an NHRA rule book to just do burnouts?
The problem with NHRA is you need a membership… it’s like $250 or something like that… and also a NHRA cage cert. all this stuff probably won’t matter to the guys running slower than 10.50 but can be a pita for some of the faster guys. My car would be fine at any IHRA track, but I couldn’t run mine there unless I spend some cash.
It’s our local Syracuse track. It does have the nickname “The Swamp” as it floods pretty easy when it rains. If they do schedule a TNT, it will be on a Saturday which will cost you about 35.00 to get in and race. No night racing of any kind. They did lay new concrete last year and I hear it’s been decent. Track prep isn’t the best but I do have my best 60ft there compared to Empire. It is what it is.
Thanks for the input guys
