Well I haven’t had much time but I figured I’d post some pictures up quick.
Little Euro trip…
Landed in Zurich, drove to Konstanz, Monaco Monte Carlo, Arles, Cannes, Toniro, Lugano, Milano, Nice, Nimes, Aries, Toulon, Lichtenstein, and a bunch of other places and on the way back to Zurich now.
I think I’ve driven about 1300 miles thus far. What am I driving? Well nothing too too fun a 2012 Ford CMax. 1.6L I4 turbo 6 speed manual. Pretty cool little car. Its snappy enough and I’ve been averaging almost 37mpg on 95 oct. The autobahn and highways here ROCK.
Some pictures. I literally have a few thousand but should be able to narrow some good ones down and post them up next week.
I have all my pictures loaded up on my comp but the internet here for the most part BLOWS. There are some super nice things here but I’m very glad to call the US home. For the most part all I’d really want in the US are the “reasonable” speed limits they have here. Meaning I can do 140 in my little Ford if I feel safe doing it.
The food is also pretty good, the history is unbeleavable. I’ll have more up later.
My brother lives in Italy and agrees. He says the country is beautiful, but mostly everything else sucks. Only 1 internet provider… takes weeks for them to return a call. Power so unreliable he needs to turn off all the lights in his place to play Call of Duty or else he causes a brown-out, lol. Want to buy a toaster, vacuum cleaner, or other appliance? The store only carries 1 brand and model… and they’re sold out.
In North America we’re used to competition between companies that ultimately leads to more consumer choices and better products. We often overlook how much that simple premise improves our quality of life over here.
