Wifey and I are back from our honeymoon in Mexico and we had a great time. We went to a small place called la Playa del Carmen to be exact. It’s just an hour away from Cancun on the Caribbean sea.

Here is the main lobby of the resort. You can’t really notice in the picture, but the world cup fans were packed in there watching Italy win.

The weather was beautiful, but it did rain for about two hours on Wednesday. And oh boy did it rain.

That all dried within a few hours.

i love the caribean … next trip is definatley going to be back there. how short did the time there seem? i know i was there a week last time and it was NOT long enough.

playa del carmen is pretty cool. SO many people. lots of europeans. its wild walking down that strip of shops, all you see is people for miles

i was there a few months ago, went down to tulume, it was aawweesoommee

what kind of stuff did you guys do while you were there? about 30 minutes away is a cool underground cavern with awesome stalagmites and stalagtites and cool underground pools and whatnot

also, right in cancun (the opposite way from the airport, about 15 minutes) theres the BEST go kart track I’ve ever seen. It looks all rinkdy dink, they give you like baseball helmets. the track ROCKS and the cars are SO FAST. i whopped my dads ass (i’ve done more trackdays than him) but the attendee I think got nervous his lines were in jeopardy so he came out too. He really showed me what’s up he was faaast!
