Looks odd.
Yup its a glare.
Awesome.

Wow, the valve cover is amazing but the owner needs to clean up that engine bay BIG TIME. Doesn’t do your work any justice being in that mess!

THat’s my engine bay, it’s been down for a while waiting on the trans so it’s kind of messy.
valve cover looks great…as usual you’ve done good work. keep us updated on all the work you do.
I was gonna say the same thing haha
Very nice work though, in a nice clean engine bay I’m sure it will look amazing.
I’m trying really, really hard not to make any jokes about 4G63s not being able to avoid the grim reaper!
Seriously nice work though Kurt.
What do you think the chances of a valve cover paint job lasting are if it is not cleared? I kind of want to do a flat Army green or camo scheme on mine.
It won’t, but I can try some other techniques of sanding to make it look flat.
Isn’t there some kind of dull clear coat that protects without making it look shiny? Something like that might work best.
i’m sure you could find a flat clear
yeah I have it. doesn’t make it flat makes it dull. looks like shit.
OK, thanks.
