Before you ask, my username on BMW forums is AWOL
Secondly, I figured its time to throw some style at the car.
Thirdly, I wanted to copy Geoff
Here goes:
Step 1: Take OEM Valve Cover Off
Step 2: Grind Smooth
Step 3: Grind Smooth all the way
Step 4: Primer
Step 5: Paint M Power colors onto cover with a fade
Step 6: Cut out stencil/design
Step 7: Take picture of Geoff
Step 8: Trace design onto cover
Step 9: Cut out design, paint white
Step 10: Start Peeling
Step 11: Done
Still need to add clear, then install it, but figured Id post it up.

i think it would of looked better with this template…
Cool. BUT looks kinda blah with the white.
edit - i was expecting cutout of ak-47 or something.
Hmm can’t say I’m a fan of that with an E34 M5 but props for time/effort that went into it.

not too sure about the colors. I think you may regret using white, inside the engine bay.
But awesome work.
stock was a lot more sexy…
Very nice work, but I don’t like the final look. That white killed it for me :\
I have to agree with alot of people the final coat of white just doesn’t fit right… If it was me I would have gone with a black instead. But you get an A for doing it.
i dig it, but you suck at darts.
Should done the design in white and left the rest the power colors
The job is definetly quality but the styling is debateable.
Good work tho and as long as you like it, then
