wait for the clutch and catback… ive proven the sti can hang with some of the fastest imports upstate, as well as some of the fastest DUMBestics. the S4, the v6-t camaro, k20power, the evo, plaf’s ls-1 camaro, bennys sentra :crackup … all have either been side by side or in my rearview. the only one id give a true WIN to was the S4 as he pulled a fender or so by 145-150. i took the rest. i refuse to run the big hp turbo hondas… theres no sense in running when the outcome is predetermined. especially with gas prices what they are and the fact i get 10mpg under boost.

im not really concerned because if the clutch held for me i would’ve had 1-2 cars at the end. not a fender.
I lost to travis by 2 cars off nitrous from like 30-130 and atleast one of those cars he gained from me spinning in the beginning. after he as 2 cars ahead it stayed like that til we hit traffic. On a higher speed roll on spray my car is going to be like night and day.

i did not get walked…if i got walked it would’ve been more than 2 cars , and from numerous people i’ve heard it would be no different with you driving.
…AND i would say 2 cars behind a built STI, or 366awhp STI, is pretty damn good for an about 210whp civic
ur kidding right?.. tell me one person who can drive YOUR CAR as well as YOU can… seriously… noone knows their car like they do… with no clutch slip and an exhaust, im sure it wouldve been uglier.
Ok, then tell me with an 85 shot of nitrous it wouldn’t have been uglier?
it would have definitely closed the gap. question is can YOUR clutch handle the extra jolt of power from that nitrous shot?
The K20’s stock clutch is rather strong, they’ve dyno’ed at around 370-375whp before starting to slip
constant power and INSTANT lightswitch power are totally different. try running and have benny jump on your back and see if u can still run as fast… same kind of analogy… its ALOT of stress all at once
eh, i got a Stage 2 Exedy in my garage. We’ll have to wait and see.
hehe what im only typing once in here is the car wont be getting ONLY a clutch and catback… when i buy my stuff there will be quite a few goodies installed all at once…then retuned. im feeling a cam2 tune with alcohol injection on a diff intercooler. did i hear 30psi with ALOT of timing?
