Evo Vs Sti on slipping clutch

yeah 43-4500 on the 2.5l STi, this was on a 2.0 4G63… FP sent the wrong turbo

yeah that .5l makes a huge difference, its a shame I cant afford a really new wrx with the 2.5 in it, then I’d just throw all the sti parts on it, maybe thats what I’ll do with the wrx I’m lookin at now if I buy it

start by giving me those haggard BBS’s without tires on them in trade for some SICK steelies, and hubcaps, and ill give you a ride in my GTI

Mark, dooooo eeeetttt!!!

wow thats a horrible tradeoff, are your stockers 16"?

thats almost exactly where im at… 22psi by around 3800-4k on my green… 200 rpms of spool would be ok for me to give up for 70whp more potential

and ill give you a lipton brisk!

^^^ even better!

stockers? my car came stock with the 17inch Monte Carlo’s, GTis didnt come stock with steelies, and the steelies are 15inch, with NO CORROSION on them. they are dope.

oh 200 i thought you said 2k, 70hp is well worth 200rpm’s I’d get a clutch and finish the exhaust first if I were you though, you can always sell me the fp green when I get my rex and upgrade then.

what the hell am I going to do with my tires then?

the Evo green makes 32psi at 3800rpm(with hks 280’s)… Twin Scroll :nod

sell them. the steelies have rubber on them

itd be nice if i had 4 inches of manifold til it hit the turbo… instead i got 3 feet of piping/header/uppipe til it goes into the turbo… hence the slower spool. :headbang

new cams would be sick on that sti, then crank the boost, that and the clutch/catback and that car would be fucking badass, not that it isnt now

I’ll sell them to you if I can find sombody to buy up my rubber that I have because I dont want to have all these sets of tires layin around and I have no use for them, see if anybody needs gnar snowtires for their jetta ect.

my car builds boost fast starting at around 3200rpm, but the WG opens at around 3600 @ 15psi, but word on the e-street is 24psi by 4000rpm on my turbo… and with the 2.0/20v/9.5:1 engine id make that at ~3500rpm

sure. 1k and the turbo is urs. i will even recommend you bring it to adam hennessey for the install and tgv removal/inlet install. dont hack it in there like i had to.

yeah such a horrible design the boxer engine is.

the porsche twin turbo boxer’s now thats an engine… whats there to help with that problem, i know people do equal lengths but a good one is loot right?

this next car is going to be done all legit, I’ll cough up the extra money to have it done by sombody who knows what they are doing I dont want some pile that runs for me once or twice a week, its gonna be a little while before I buy a car anyways, just like I’m sure its gonna be a while before you have enough for a new turbo, just get the clutch and exhaust done, then take me for a 2nd ride in it ;D

Ive done some research on them and it really is fucking stupid
