Expensive thinking.

Well said JayS.

I’ll say this, and it should sum up my answer pretty easily…

There is a HUGE difference in being able to afford to BUY a supercar, and beng able to afford to OWN a supercar.

Kbye…

Yes you all seem to have a much higher thinking of me… but when you are all stressed out becasue of your stacking bills, all you have to do is go see your thyrapist…that 500hp v-10 outside in your driveway.

Won’t be able to pay the speeding tickets that your lambo gets you…

Won’t be able to use it to pick up girls…because you can’t take them anywhere or afford the gas to cruise…

Won’t be able to take it to a track day for fear of not being able to afford tires…

Probbley get smoked by honda hatch owner in Buffalo who has more spending cash the you…

If I was making that much i’d be more realistic and settle for a new z06.

my rule is drive a car that u bought for what you make a year… (minus @ least 25% down)

Best rule of thumb:

Car payment + insurance <= 10% NET (you could do gross if you want to push it)

Live by that rule and you’ll NEVER be over your head

He said hypothetical, I am pretty sure he wasn’t speaking for himself personally…

Isnt it possible to get a mega-long car loan nowadays? Im talking like 15 year…I think 10+ year car loans are becoming more common though still rare…
