I Got Paid to Drive Exotic Cars

And it was good.

Solid, sounds like an excellent time.

Took one for the team huh? Somebody had to step up.

Sucks the 430 was so bad. Absolutely love the looks of them but from what I’ve read, that’s about all.supposedly they were way better then the 360 as far maintenance and driving but maybe that’s not saying much. Thought I’d own one someday when they bottomed out but looks otherwise.

F430’s are excellent street cars, let’s get serious. He’s also talking about one that’s used in corporate events and rentals, and gets the shit kicked out of it, that clearly has the switch that controls the ABS, suspension and traction control BROKEN OFF.

Porsche… There is no substitute.

I saw that trailer headed east on I90 Sunday afternoon.

Nice review, I actually read it all. If I made close to 100grand a year I would probably still buy the used gallardo. But I’m not a race car driver, I’d love to just cruise and listen to the engine!

ive driven a couple lambo’s casually and IMO they look great but not what id spend my money on, and trust me making 100 grand a year you might be able to buy a lambo but not afford it unless you live in a trailer

Getting a big loan is easy, dropping $10,000 in cash for repairs is a different story.

lol.

this is accurate.

I spend 10k on breakfast some days.

You won’t be able to afford a Gallardo if you make “close to 100 grand/year”

You might be able to purchase a used one, but definitely not maintain it.

I’m pretty sure you have no concept of money lol

There is no way you could buy a big dollar car at 100K a year unless you live in a trailer.

This is why exotics only have 2000 miles on them when they are 5 years old. Only 1% can buy exotics and only 1% of the 1% are truly baller enough to rack up 50,000 miles. lol

I drove a Gallardo at Englishtown Raceway in NJ a few years ago. I left very much under-whelmed, considering what I was exepecting…

yeah I don’t really have a clue on what maintenance costs are.

a 60 month loan on 80k is $1,580 a month.

100k/52 wks =1,923.07 gross a week. $1,923.07 x.65% I don’t know what taxes one pays on 100k/yr but = $1,250 a week take home = $5,000 a month take home. I guess it depends on ones monthly bills.

I guess you got me there

Why not buy something better with a 84 month loan?

The interest rate with that loan I choose to be 2.9% so I guess it could be more monthly with a shitty interest rate.

true there are probably better cars out. What would you choose in the price range 80k-100k used or new?

cool, me and another guy on the boards were there too. I was wondering what the story was with where the instructors came from. Good write up.

The gallardo sounded much better than the f430 which surprised me quite a bit.
