When I bought my car it was a pile of junk sittin on some guys lawn. The paint was so dull you couldnt see a single reflection in it. The exhaust was all rotted out, and the interior smelled like a pack of bums threw up in it. Couple minor dings, but the body was solid, and the motor hadn’t been ran in years. And the best part of all, it was bone stock. All-in-all I paid $1900.00 for it. Now almost three years and 1000 headaches later I have over $22,000.00 invested in it…

1998 Dodge Dakota R/T
purchased 7/8/05 for $10,000 with 46,000 miles. it was damn near perfect when i got it. only thing wrong with is was the previous owner smoked like a chiminy and getting rid of the smell took a little effort and there are a coupple cig burn on the seats, but somehow they r on the sides so u litterally dont see them unless u wedge your hand down between the seat and the center console.
close to a year and 8,000 miles later, i have about $1500 into it.

Bought the Mustang in April of '97 for $5000. It was a theft recovery, 49k on it, perfect condition inside and out…just needed a driveline, wheels, tires, some interior parts…since then I have no idea how much money has gone into it since many parts have been sold. I also had a few parts cars along the way to help fund things. if I had to guess…maybe 12k???
The SHO…paid $1977 on ebay…did the 5 spd. swap for free after selling parts…have only put $800 into it and that was a few weeks back on new wheels! …So less than $3k in the SHO total:)
Before anyone else says it… way to much.
