How much did you pay for your car & how much did you put into it

Yeah tell me about it

$4800 for the car

tires/mods/labor/maintenance/general repair - $7000+

$14k for the Jeep

$0 invested into it so far.

car 1k…3k or so planend this yea

Minivan (pre destruction)

250 for the van
1500 in parts (Turbo, IC, etc)

1750 total (not bad for ~300hp)

The Passat (99 auto 1.8t)
6500 for the car
nothing extra

drdos has 6grand in mods?..where?

SHO

$500 for car
$100 to get it in safe running condition
$1000 planned to make it track worthy

WRX - $14,000
Krylon for wheels - $15

01 VW jetta 1.8t - $10,999
and over $ 2k in parts this spring alone

now was that $15 for just the three wheels? or all four?

this thread will make me sad if i post.

$30,000.00 car
$10,000.00+ mods

And no one wants the fastest Evolution in WNY for $24,000.00!

I am well into six figures on cars so far.:hang:

SHO
$4500

  • $1000 parts
  • $xxx? get it running

dunno, like $6k :stuck_out_tongue:

300M
$8750

  • $500 parts and crap

$9250

$5500 car
$5000 maintenance and mods

…and that is for a STOCK CLASS car.

Impala
$12,000 for car with decent body, motor barely ran
$6,000 for random things to keep it running, so now I have a car with an ok body, thank you construction zone and freezing rain, and major timing issues

Yukon
$25,000 with 8 miles on it
probably around $9,000 to get it the way that I like it, if i was smart I would just sell the stereo and just buy a blower

Honda $2300
Mods: None

Eagle Talon TSi AWD: Free
So far money spent: $0

The teg had about 32K invested including the cost of the car (15K)…the EVO has 30K invested, including the cost of the car…my next project will prob be a 50-60K total investment

my car cost me $1000. I have added nothing but gas to it.

$8000 for 99 caddy sts at auctions (and new tires)
Even trade for 2000 Solara (asking price $10,100)

$1000 clutch replacment
$2000 for accident repairs (all new front end body parts)
$3000+ in mods all currently for sale to sink into turbo charging.

theres 1000 in the slobalt but nothing to make it go fast or do something cool

"95 Z-28 ragtop bought new in '95 for ~$23,000. Spent at least twice that much on it, but did recoup some of that by selling parts I upgraded.

It might be easier to list the major systems that have NOT been modified, upgraded, or replaced. It still has a stock radiator and uses a stock PCM (with add-ons and reprogramming). Otherwise, I think everything else has been replaced or extensively modified.
