when I was in Highschool I had a teacher tell me that extreme sports were for “skinny white boys who can’t play real sports” when he asked why I chose to race snowmobiles instead of play a highschool sport
I told him, put me on the highschool football team, I GUARANTEE I can play pretty damn well, maybe not the best, but I could hold my own… then I said, give me your best highschool athlete, i’ll let him ride one of my race sleds…and if he can make it two laps around a snocross track without me lapping him then I’ll agree with his viewpoint. He didn’t have much to say after that
