Wait… I don’t know the details but I assume they were under caution at that point with a car being recovered already? Was the weather just that bad?
I see a green flag not a yellow waving above the loader. I would the caution flap would be out at that point at least?

the cliffs: local yellow caution as per the rules and Bianchi lost control in that section anyway. Some say he was violating the yellow, others that the race should have been called due to conditions.
Adrian Sutil crashed at that corner the previous lap. under a local caution he lost control in the same place. After the crash they called the race.
