someone wrecked their cobra mustang in cecil twp. in washington county. kid was 24. all over the news b/c the kid was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed and flipped his car over a guard rail. car landed on top of him killing him.

CECIL, Pa. – Crews were called to the scene of a fatal crash in Washington County.
Investigators said the 24-year-old victim was driving his Mustang Cobra at a high speed along Route 980 in Cecil Township overnight.
That’s when he hit the guide rail and rode it for nearly 50 feet.
His car went airborne and he was ejected from the vehicle.
He landed 20 feet down into a ravine.
The vehicle then came to a stop on top of the man.
Crews are using support blocks to hoist the car off the victim.
There is no word on the driver’s identity.
It is not known when Route 980 will reopen.

A Canonsburg man was killed when his car went over a guardrail and down a hill in Washington County today.
The county coroner’s office said Steven Zaricki, 24 died when his car went off Route 980, north of Route 50, in Cecil around 2:45 a.m.
Ls1 blew him off the road.

I used to live on Route 980 not far from where this a–hole crashed. I talked to my old neighbor about the wreck today and now I remember this guy from all the times he rocketed by my house heading out of McDonald towards Cecil. He used squeal the tires at every chance, drive at full throttle all the time and pass anybody on any straight stretch of road he could find. It’s no suprise that he removed himself from the gene pool driving like that. He’s the kind of jerk that gets the cops all prickly against young people in sporty cars because he drives like a neanderf–k everywhere he goes. Good ridance.
It’s still not cool that he died.
