The suzuki vitara pistons are 75mm bore, just like a honda d-series. They are a nice alternative to forged because they’re cheap, made of a better material than stock hondas, and have the extra oiliing holes on the sides of the piston. They also yield a lower c/r, something like 8.6:1 as opposed to the stock 9.3:1 (if i remember correctly). I’ve read they handle 300hp no problem, which is a bit more than my goals. One downside about these that I have read is that they sound like a diesel on startup. I’m not sure if it’s piston slap, or the floating pin design (as opposed to hondas pressed pin). Maybe zerodaze will chime in on his feelings about that. I know josh_b also ran them from rochester, but Idk if he made it to this site.

But his are going into a Boosted Suzuki Swift…

They use them a lot in Puerto Rico…
