Yeh it was mine. After the 3rd pull with the 5.0 my car started filling with white smoke, i glanced at the dash to see my engine starting to overheat and my motor shut down. I left the fan not pulling over away letting the air cool it. I think at that time we were at about 120 or so. I pulled over let it cool down and luckly i had water with me. Filled it back up and took it very easy back to sg.
Thanks bro. Car seemed to run ok on the ride home. It stoped smoking about a mile or two after i left. I just kept an eye on the temp. And yes we most def will run again.
and the 5.0 is a 306, has edelbrock heads, cam, forged pistons full exhaust GT40 intake manifold. Made 301 rwhp on a mustang dyno. With cooper street tires spinning 1st he got it to a 8.69 at Lancaster, so its no soluch for a Mustang.
