i hate seeing this threads when my landlord won’t let me have a dog. I’d take him in a heartbeat.
I feel he gets a little too hyper when people stop over … and doesnt calm down fast enough …
but my kids safety is first priority … there has been too many times where he has knocked my son over darting for the door or window…
Easy solution- stop having us over…lol
He is a cool dog though, if my son wasn’t so damn allergic to them, I would pick him up.
most dogs are nutso when people stop over til they get older. My dog got super excited when people came by til he was about 4 and now he wont even get off the couch no matter who stops by. They get over it after awhile. my g/fs dog is hyper too when people come over but hes slowly getting better. Did you ever try bringing him somewhere to get trained?
quirt water at him when he barks when people come over. a guy i regularly deliver to does this and it srsly works awesome lol. not a peep after he gets a squirt to the face
↑ Word, good advise. You need to do more to make him understand its not ok to do what he is doing. I completely understand about your son but its not the dogs fault its yours. Please understand, its the way you raise him and let him do the things he do, and the things he gets away with. He looks like an awesome dog, I will ask my sister if she is interested.
