As someone on the inside I will say that the days of 4 hour breaks and whining to the union are about over. I know it will take years before the public changes their opinion on auto labor but its headed in the right direction.
That machinery looks pretty advanced for 1936. Speaking of 1936, I bet those guys were just happy to have jobs.
