Well after my car being down for quite some time, due to being broken into and waiting for parts it’s almost ready to go. I’ve done some extensive work on it since ít was parked.
New mods include
auto to 5 speed trans conversion, lightened flywheel, 6 puck clutch
gt28rs turbo, gtir turbo manifold and Z32 Maf
50lbs injectors in top feed fuel rail, nismo adjustable fpr
3" turbo back mandrel bent exhaust with 3" test pipe.
Crower stage 2 cams (still need to be installed)
carbon fibre hood and exalta headlights
jwt programed ecu for turbo, 50lbs injectors and Z32 maf, with emanage
All work was done by myself and a friend, now the only problem is that the brakes have been bled correctly, no air in line but they still are mushy. I can’t figure out what is wrong, I’ve posted it on sr20de forums but I’ll see if anyone here has a clue.
So besides that, it runs, rich as hell need tune but everything works, 5 spd feels good, shift nice. I’ve attached a few pics, mind you the engine bay still needs some cleaning up and the car needs a wash in a bad way. I do have a painted valve cover that I will change over once I put the cams in.
Well considering that the s2000 is a honda, and there for has about the same torque as a 3 year old hanging on a wrench, and it still managed to cook him off the line… I am thinking he had a extreamly good launch. S2000s are all about top end, that kind of excuse is pretty weak.
