Finally got the front wheels to fit

Looks good Mark, side shot? When are you making a venture out to these neck of the woods?

Are those Rota Slipstreams or Desmond Regamasters?

Btw not “hating” just curious. Looks good either way.

fail.

Thanks everyone! I am really happy how it looks.

 Thanks! They are 225/50/16 up front, 205/50/16 in the rear, Falken Ziex ZE-512. I chose them because they have a soft sidewall, and they are light. Its 25.7" tall up front, 24.7" tall in the rear.

For slicks, I have the same wheel, but 15", and I am looking at the M&H Racemaster street/strip slick. Its only 17# per slick, and < 14# per wheel, and I talked to a few guys at the 400 whp 400 ft/lb area, and they said they hook in second, which is awesome!

Hopefully soon buddy! If all goes well, next weekend I’ll be down to see whats up.

Slips baby.

Looks good. I like the contrast.

Black hood, black wheels with chrome lugs. Looks like an angry 'lil sunuvabitch. Kinda reminds me of the '69 Superbee:

Hot.

So I guess I dont need to bring a grinder over, or you dont need to make the 22 mile drive out to the house again. haha.

Looks great.

BEES?

BEADS???

Looks good Mark. I like

It could still save me some time if I do run into an issue, but the Dremel and the grinding stone bit worked well, although slow, still worked. I just had to take the powdercoat ridge off of the calipers.

BTW, my calipers say “TURBO” on them

Why did you go with a taller tire in front then out back? I like the look!

Wheels look great…

BEADS!?

Beads are cheap… aren’t they?

It saved me 3 pounds each tire going with a smaller tire in the rear. I was trying to think in my head which would be less resistance, the more rotations that are required to go the same distance with a smaller tire, or the weight savings, and I went with the weight savings. I have adjustable coilovers too, so I figured I could just level it out that way, if it looked silly.

Its nice fitting the 25.7" tire up front too, since the slicks are 26", this way I know there won’t be any rubbing issues unless they significantly grow, which in that case, I can just raise it up a little bit more again.

Quick and dirty shots, shitty location, it was about to start raining :gotme:

Marnie’s pics wins. Looks even better.

PS: Cavi Mike…seriously? If you’ve ever had that happen you might want to consider using wheel bearings instead of bits of string.

I think I like the rear tire size, the fronts look big from a side profile. Overall the car looks good. I like the wheels

Jeller

Looks mean, I was going to put 15" Motegi Traklites on mine had I kept it.

But is it fast!??

lol

No way! Stock :pimp:
