I have FINALLY!!! pulled MY KA.
Every single person who saw a picture of my car had the same comment… “give that engine bay a bath” so I actually spent more time cleaning the engine bay then it took for me to pull the damn engine… lol.
SR20 is dropping tomorrow… 8)

It looks so much better and it’s only a matter of maintaining it now because the worst part is done.

Hey guys… Thanks for all the comments and double Thanks to all the Kitchener folk who have either helped out or been kind enough to supply parts and will contiune to help
I have been set back a bit or side tracked with a few tiny problems.
I had to get some small parts to finish off the motor along with belts and stupid crap. My Oil Pressure sending unit for my gauge will not fit into the block because it hits the Oil Filter. And I’m having a BITCH of a time finding the proper 90’ to use on it.
Soon as I find this 90’ I’m dropping the motor in as its a bitch to do afterwards.
In the mean time I replaced both Left and Right front sections of my Frame Rails since one had a hole and the other was starting to go. Shes all mint now thou.
My date for a finished project is now Friday… I will post pictures between now and then as I’m finishing off my Intercooler piping and am yet to start bending up my Exhaust.

I bought two cans of that Engine Degreaser crap from CT and a can of WD-40. And a Pressure Washer…
Only took about 30 mins to pull the engine. Spent probably a good hour if not more cleaning the bay.
Okay boys… I got the SR in today finally.
Getting my Oil Pressure sending until installed and taken care of was a huge pain in the ass. I ended up making a custom fitting which I should of done from the start and saved alot of time.
SR dropped in real smooth… we got it about 3/4 of the way without even having the car jacked up and then just jacked up the tranny when it got close to the floor.
Motor mounts, Cross Member and Drive Shaft are all hooked up. I started with some smaller wiring etc… nothing special “was a late day”
Flash in my camera broke some how so I’m sorry about the horrible pictures. I will get better ones tomorrow as well as some of the swap hopefully rapping up/finished.
Well I have completed my Swap after doing many things on the side… having to build many things for the project and having to work around problems which the car had but were super smooth to fix without the engine in.

Insurance comapny wanted to see my car yesterday to prove its not modified then they wanted pictures as well… lol.

Looks very nice man, I can’t wait to drop my black top in. The other day I was on the 401 and a I was kind of playing around with this guy in a Lexus IS300 and then he started pulling away from me :oops: and Im sitting there thinking to my self … If I only had my SR20 in this wouldn’t be happening right now…damn it!
When are you going to lower your car, because on one of those pics it looks like it’s offroad ready :lol: .
