1600 budget for the whole setup fyi
wow 1600 bucks you can make a badass desktop…
BTW why can’t you build one … its really really easy…
what do you mean your laptop died… I’m sure i can fix it
do you have any preference to intel or amd?
And on another note… I think you should have a monitor around the 1600 X 1200 resolution if you are going to be using photoshop… much more clearer and probably better suited for you so that gives you choices of
ultrasharp 2407 for 799 resolution is 1920X1200 you can easily find rebates on this … and get it down to about 600 bucks shipped
2007 dell 1600X1200 for 381 bucks probably get it for 300 shipped

Dell XPS
http://www.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/cto_xpsdt_410?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
The one on the left “media guru”.
Thats alot of firepower for the office, sure you could build a monster for $1600 but I think the dell isnt too bad for the price.Search around for some dell coupon codes so you can fit another monitor into the $1600 budget.
