Easiest swap is a turbocharged 2.3, most often found in the 80s Thunderbird turbocoupesā¦great little engine.
just picture the car with the dashboard in it and thats itā¦all the panels and the rest of the interior r outā¦and that box was hard ass hell to break apart!

Some of the shots the surface rust and the yellowish brown glue appear to be all rust, when in fact its not.
Aside from the passenger A-pilar the rust all seems to be surface, and after poking with a screw driver, the entire car appears to be very solid.
I guess the rag top trapped moister underneath causing the rust seen in the photos, but overall I am still very impressed with the condition of the car.
