Well I’m new to pittspeed but not to imports. My name is Dave and I am the president of snail speed car club. We recently went to Hal’s for the Pittspeed event and met a few guys. All very cool. Just thought I’d help the cause. I drive a 97 Talon TSI AWD and built it with the ideal street car in mind. It has some manners so I can drive it to work and have no trouble seeing 11’s at the drag strip on 93 octane. I also participate in AutoX and what ever else is going on. I recently took up powder coating for my own use and am enjoying that alot. My occupation…well I teach 4th grade at a local grade school.

My old 50 trim was fun off the line back in the day, not enough top end for me with AWD back then. I never autoxed it that way but would have been crazy laggy.
