[left]i got a problem with my headunit…the unit is pioneer DEH-8600MP…i just noticed that the motorized front plate is not working…
the face plate doesn’t come out when i tried to eject it…same thing happened when I shut down the car…whereas it suppose to auto-eject…it doesn’t do that anymore…
any ideas to fix it?
do you gus know somewhere or somebody who can fix headunit?

My 8400 is doing the same fricken thing. For some reason it stays open now. I have until the end of the month to return it to best buy… how ironic… i get the 4 yr plan, my shit breaks in the last month of the contract.

There is a reset button on the face… which is like disconnecting the power w/o removing the stereo itself. It will reset all presets and sound adjustments… and smoetimes it will reset the motor… hopefully yours is just confused. Mine is def fucked though.
