Well my motor is basically finished just needed to get a better dampner before timing the motor, and I picked up a Fluidampner for my motor. Anyone ever run them? I have heard nothing but good things about them just wondering if anyone uses them? They are made in Springville, NY and both Paul at Swerve and Jason from JnJ told me about these things.
I do
LOL’d
"It has been rumored that the fluid in a Fluidampr turns to gel over time. Here’s a news flash, its gel when we pump it into the damper. That is how the technology works. The silicone gel inside the damper keeps the flywheel in place and functioning. So to put all of the competitions claims to rest, it is a gel, always and forever. Maybe we should have named them Geldamprs. "
Me too.
It works as far as I know. No problems thus far.
Fluidampr and ATI are both top notch
Truth. For high hp builds, they are a motor saver. Will without a doubt increase the life of a build. They seem expensive and you won’t see any “gains” per say. But they are kinda a necessity to a good build.
Which brings me to another rant honda heads. I can’t stress enough how much those ctr n1 pulleys suck. People have to realize that shit harmonically vibrates and those vibrations need to go somewhere and they will. That somewhere may be your clutch/flywheel, engine bearings, or commonly the rotor inside your oilpump on hondas (I’ve personally seen a ton of proof of this). Failing oil pump = quick death to your motor.
Get one.
