FMS vs. ECU tune

I have installed 20+ of these boards now, all where fine.

Issue is installation, if someone doesnt really know how to solder properly then it should be left to the pro’s.

Usually what happens is the traces get burned or contact pads get f’ed up.

A proper ecu tune, cannot be touched to its reliability and consistency.

Cost wise, board is around 300, but unless you plan on tuning it yourself you do not have to buy the software as i have a tuner license of nistune.

Let me know if you have any other ecu tuning questions.

GL.

Couldn’t agree more.

ive been looking around and now that im started to put the ka-t together i wanna make sure i know which tune will be best.

ive heard good things about calum tuning, it seems to be cheaper then nistune and i think they also feed some base maps just to get started. I was also told that most people with s14 tend to tune 95 ecu’s, what does that mean?

Just Pm The dude above you. He’s bomb.

ye i just did that before posting!

ive read nothing but great things about nistune, planing on getting a board my self this winter. they are made in austrailia i believe

ye but according to their site its gonna come out to about 600 canadian to get everything here.

To me it does not matter whether its nistune or calum, both are just interfaces to the 16bt ecus that nissans have.

Whatever you decide to go with i can tune it, as for nistune, i have the cable’s and dealer software so all you have to pay for is the board and install which is around 350 + tuning.

can i go through you for the nistune board and tuning. or do i have to get do that myself and then get it tuned? cause i cant find the board for 350

you can go through me.

arite cool pm me ur name and number so i can contact you
