I am sitting in one of my branches in Bradford PA since the local manager wanted today and tomorrow off. There is one other person here and she is handling all of the orders like she usually does. I have never been at such a large place with no people before… This is insane. I got all my work from my office caught up and now have nothing to do for the rest of today and tomorrow

I pretty well pissed off the southeast regional operations manager today. He was yapping all week about wanting some low pipeline pressure warning that wasn’t part of the design. I kept explaining why he didn’t need it until I finally just said “It’s not part of the design, and I can’t change the design” which is engineer speak for “go fuck yourself” and everyone in the room knew it.
It would be a CLM except I’m pretty sure he’s been pissing people off all week, hanging around causing trouble. Demanding things be fixed that aren’t part of the product line design.
The ultimate problem though is that I cannot take a guy seriously when he has a southern accent. “Ya’ll really need ta git a PSL690 in there.” :rx3: OK Barney, right after I git them Duke brothers.
