I have an 88 Town Car that I inherited from my grandfather and will probably keep as long as it wants to live. It’s in need of a replacement transmission which I plan to buy before spring. I’ve been doing some research on coralnet and other sites, but it’s hard to say which shops are reputable and which aren’t.
I’d like to get something that can handle a supercharged 302. I figure if I’m going to keep it forever I might as well make it fun, right?!
I don’t mind spending a few extra bucks for a quality piece. I’d like to do it once and be done with it.
Also, if anyone has info on a locking rear diff, please pass it on. I’m having a hard time finding which axles it uses.
