Ford Motor Co. worst losses ever

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Dispatch/FordReportsWorstEverLoss.aspx

oh how this brings a smile to my face

second that

I know man, ford is doing terrible. I might be going to toyota tech soon :eek4dance

and the lord declared “imports shall inherit the earth”

although i read today that their restructing is excedeing expectations and making wall street take note.

The only good thing about Ford as far as I’m concerned is their high-yielding (junk!) bonds. My senior unsecured Ford Motor Company 8.875% bonds jumped in value today to 95.50 from about mid 80’s. That was more than I ever expected them to jump up to before maturity…

I guess this development had something to do with it? Either way, w00t! It went up from where I bought it at and it paid me interest on time this year again! :gome:

:stupid:

good, i hope all auto manufactureres lose money. they need to lower the damn prices. the cost of new cars is outrageous.

yet i’ve seen big piles of carbon fiber and titanium (aka c6 zo6) laying around for just over 60k. hm

taking pleasure in ford doing poorly is a cuntish thing to do.

ford losses = fewer jobs.

we should be hoping for the prosperity of all companies that employ American workers.

Here you go, an honest and up front perspective for you to chew on.

The lack of pricing power by American producers, brought on by poor quality, unimaginative marketing and sales to rental fleets, cost them nearly $1,000 per car.

That is why they are losing their asses.

Almost a repsot simply becasue they had the worst fouth 1/4 ever last year adn appearently they still aren’t doing jack shit!

the z06 is a good buy for the dollar value. but im saying in general, such as the colorado for like 30 g’s, suvs being high 30s at the very least, along with full size trucks etc. it just seems like most cars cost so much anymore. maybe its just me, but theres no way in hell im tryin to buy something new for that much. i almost bought a new colorado and then a new ss but for what it costs, id rather just find a slightly used one.

Screw the UAW that fucked it all up. Get out of detroit and go where people want to work. Kentucky and Tennessee :boink

taken from anOTher forum:
