Wow Ford is pretty desperate. I wonder what is going to happen to those two brands now.

It’s a good move by Ford to start putting their money and efforts into their core brand.
I don’t care about Jaguar or Land Rover because neither are brands I’d ever care to own. BMW, Lexus, MB > Jaguar. * > Land Rover unless you’re going on an African safari.

Agreed. These brands were brought on as the Premiere Group, along with Aston, but now is the time for focusing, not diversification.

So instead of Jags being Ford Contours in disguise, they’re going to be Tibourons.
edit scratch that, for some reason I thought Tata was owned by Hyundai.
LOL, The contour had NOTHING to do with the jaguars.
Infact, the jaguar x-type rode on the same chassis as a ford mondeo (which is actually a pretty nice awd car in europe)
And the S-type had some parts in common with the lincoln LS. Which, also is a nice car.
They both sucked…except
