I came across that video a few weeks ago looking at some cnc processes to try out on my new machine. That shit is impressive, even moreso than the full billet block stuff.
Talk about a cool part to put on your mantle :lol
I think Mafdark put that vid in his machine thread. Don’t even want to know how long that took from beginning to end or the cost of a piece of stock that size. Finished product is incredible though… the spindle barely cleared a lot of the part!
Probably about a $1200 piece of billet to start with. Was stated at one point that the spindle came as close as about .010" at some points. Cool shit for sure.
