A bunch of us went to Formula Kartways last night and Petey Pantaloons got the manager there to open a Son240sx group in his computer.
So, next time you go, tell them you are part of the club, they will update your membership and everytime you go after that you will get 5 free laps.

The simple fact that if someone can’t drive and constantly fucks up, you get slowed down at GPK, is one of the reasons I’m not a big fan of that course. Sorry Dan, but when you go to race and you get slowed down ever 2 minutes, and than get nothing in return…I find well, it’s a waist of money.
Formula, no one can slow you down, automatically that is, they’re gas powered, and you can drift…
That’s a win in my books =]
Wooo go karting is a form of motorsports. It’s not meant for drifting, if they CAN drift, it means they are setup very shitty for actual GO KARTING.
You only get slowed down if you are doing something stupid, we are very linient with the slowing down rules. Remember when you and I raced at the Final or Patrick’s b-day? We were cat and mouse the entire way.
And now we just reconfigured the track slightly, and there are some AWESOME times and races going on. The track is wider, with more oppurtunities for passing and more run-off. We have a hairpin right off the the front straight at corner 2.
Mike, If you guys would give me some actual details, then I could set something up no problem. With some heavy discounts the more people come. Could be upto and over 40-50% off!
Personally I like they’re setup. If you don’t want to drift you don’t have to. They’re very quick when your actually racing…I just find its hell of a lot funner when you can do multiple things with the carts.
GPK is sick in my mind as far as time attack, but Dan, like a year ago when i use to go there quite a bit, I use to get shafted allllll the time, because someone didn’t know how to drive, and than…after being slowed down at least 7 or 8 times…the race was over, and I barely made it around the track once without being slowed.
That’s what mainly shot me away from GPK for a while. I know when you guys are there is pretty crazy, but I personally do have more fun at Formula.
