FORMULA X, presented by Mazda, returns to New Jersey’s premier motorsports facility during the June 13-14 weekend with a giant lineup of tuner and motorsports activities. Redline Time Attack will return with some of the nations’ fastest Time Attack competitors in a special Street and Modified category shootout. With $500 on the line in each division (FWD, RWD, AWD), the stakes will be high for drivers who think they can put down the fastest lap on NJMP’s awesome Thunderbolt Course.

Tuners and custom car enthusiasts looking to check out the Time Attack event can also enter or check out the F4 Challenge car show. With over 30 trophies, $1,800 in payout up for grabs and points toward the F4 Challenge season championships, the F4 Challenge will be sure to feature some of the hottest imports, domestics, and even motorcycles from the northeast and the mid-Atlantic regions. Two-wheel enthusiasts can also check out the All Revved Up Motorcycle festival on the Lightning Course, which will include Jason Britton’s famed No Limits motorcycle stunt team.

The tuner and two-wheel components join a huge two-day motorsports line up including the biggest open wheel development series – the Atlantic Championship powered by Mazda, the Star Mazda series, and the Skip Barber National Championship. Triple digit speeds and side-by-side action are going to be the norm as each of the series hosts a double-header race weekend.

what bumps a car from “street” class to “modified” class?
curious as the new slicks i got for the STi would be perfect for this, but im not sure if that would bump my class.
also, i run a front sway bar and CBE as per SCCA’s “stock” class rules.
