Got a pm from 02svtfocus yesterday wanting to meet up to grab a few runs in while the weather was still holding out, so I agreed to meet him after work. Both cars are NA fox body Mustangs with similars mods of heads/cam/intake/gears/etc, my car makes 305/322 to the wheels…his numbers were unknown.
Each outcome was pretty much the same, one th first run we went from a second gear roll at about 30-35mph to the pretty high up in fourth…so about 110ish. I couldn’t tell the gap all that well in the rear view but at the end I was probably a few buss lengths on him.
Next run was a third gear roll at about 60-65ish to the top of fourth…similar result as the first. I tried to grab some vids but it wasn’t workin out so well with shifting and steering…oh well.
